Activated alumina is a very porous form of aluminium oxide of high surface; typical chemical formula Al2O3·nH2O.

Applied in dehydration of many kinds of gases and liquids, the product is widely applied in dehydration of gas, industrial gas, inert gas, natural gas, cracked gas and so on.

Activated alumina has much micro-paths, so the
specific surface is large. It can be used as absorbent, desiccant and catalyst carrier.

It is widely used in the deep drying of cracked gas, ethylene and propylene, hydrogen-generation, air separation, instrument air-drying.

It is also used as a filter of fluoride, arsenic and selenium in liquids or gasses.

Activated alumina can be supply impregnated with Permanganate for ambient air purification.
