CMT Molecular Sieve

Molecular sieve are cristalline metal alumina silicates having a 3-dimensional structure od silica and aluminium.

Molecular sieve is a material with pores of uniform size. These pore diameters are of the dimensions of small molecules, thus large molecules cannot be absorbed, while smaller molecules can.

Molecular sieves are used as adsorbent for gases and liquids. It is different from a common filter in that it operates on a molecular level and traps the adsorbed substance.

Molecular sieves are utilized in several industrial application wherever a gas or liquid need to be purify by different types of contaminant.
